Things To Do
Just Relax
Find it hard to sit still?
- Visit the nearby Historic villages of Neville, Carcoar, Millthorpe, Mandurama, and Lyndhurst, with museums, old buildings and lots of other things to see, while making a day of visiting these villages call into the local for lunch or pack a picnic and check out the old mines, Abercrombie caves and Carcoar railway tunnel, or have a coffee with a scrumptious homemade cake at Neville’s Rustic Nature Café.
- Bring your bike and ride on our quiet country roads.
- Being situated on 400 acres and with no light pollution it allows the night sky to light up like a chandelier on a clear night. Lay out on the star bed and gaze into the zillions of stars. Make sure you bring your camera.
- Take a walk on our farm and stop at the Lakeside Dam to watch the bird life.
- The region is renowned for its cool climate wines, craft breweries, highly rated local restaurants, cafes and authentic country pubs, all leisurely day trips from the cottage.
Spring through to Autumn can be chilly and if you enjoy the cold, winter is the time to stay. We are situated on the tablelands sitting at 950 to 1,000 metres. We have snow through the winter months which is magical.
